These Protein Prawn Crackers are the high-protein, air-fried upgrade to the classic takeaway favourite. Made with simple rice paper and fresh prawns, they puff up into golden, crispy crackers with zero deep frying and no mystery starch fillers. If you love prawn chips but want something lighter, cleaner, and packed with real protein, this version is for you.
They are perfect as a high-protein snack, party platter addition, or crunchy topping for salads and bowls. Plus, they cook in under 12 minutes in the air fryer.
Unlike traditional prawn crackers that rely on tapioca starch, artificial flavourings and are deep-fried in seed oils, these use whole prawns for natural protein and flavour. Paired with a creamy miso bang bang sauce, they are salty, slightly sweet, deeply savoury, and completely addictive.
