Nourish for a Cause AUCTION Terms & Conditions

  • Auction Overview
    • The charity auction is organized by Amy Lee (@amyleeactive) to support Toybox Australia as part of Amy Lee’s Miss Universe Australia finalist campaign.
    • Bidders participate by submitting silent bids via email to charity@amyleeactive.com.
  • Bidding Process
    • Bids must be submitted before the auction closes at 5:00 PM Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on 28 August 2024.
    • The email subject line must read: “BID: NOURISH – $AUD”.
    • The email body must include the bidder’s full name, phone number, and bid amount.
  • Bid Acceptance
    • By submitting a bid, bidders agree to these terms and conditions.
    • All bids are final and cannot be withdrawn or altered once submitted.
  • Winning Bid
    • The highest bid received by the closing time will be deemed the winning bid.
    • In the event of a tie, the earliest received bid will be considered the winner.
  • Notification and Payment
    • The winning bidder will be notified via email and phone within 24 hours of the auction closing.
    • Payment must be made within 3 days of notification. Failure to do so may result in the bid being awarded to the next highest bidder.
  • Prize Details
    • The prize is a private chef experience based on the menu listed in the advertisement.
    • Dietary requirements can be accommodated upon request.
    • Travel fees will be incurred if the chef needs to travel more than 20km outside of Melbourne CBD.
    • Bookings are subject to the availability of the chef, and the dinner timing is to be negotiated with the chef.
    • The booking must be made within 6 months of winning, or the prize will be considered forfeited and non-refundable.
    • If the winner wishes to add more than 4 guests, this must be negotiated with the chef for an additional cost.
  • Private Chef Dining Experience Terms
    • The private chef experience includes a customized menu as per the advertisement.
    • The chef will provide all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment.
    • The winner is responsible for providing a suitable kitchen and dining area.
    • Any additional services or menu changes requested by the winner may incur extra charges.
    • General reasonable hours for the private chef experience are between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Any requests outside these hours are subject to the chef’s availability and may incur additional charges.
    • You must claim the prize within 8 months of payment.
  • Cancellation Policy
    • Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to the scheduled dinner date.
    • If the winner cancels within 14 days of the scheduled dinner date, the prize will be considered forfeited and non-refundable.
    • Rescheduling is subject to the chef’s availability and must be agreed upon at least 14 days in advance.
  • Privacy
    • Personal information provided by bidders will be used solely for the purpose of this auction and will not be shared with third parties, without consent of the winner.
  • Disputes
    • Any disputes arising from the auction will be resolved at the sole discretion of Amy Lee.
  • Changes to Terms
    • Amy Lee reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to bidders via email.

Nourish for a Cause RAFFLE Terms & Conditions

Eligibility:

Every eligible donation made to Amy Lee’s Miss Universe Australia 2024 Fundraising Page [https://toyboxaustralia.grassrootz.com/miss-universe-australia-2024/amy-lee] will be entered into the prize pool draw.

An “eligible donation” is defined as follows:

$50 for 1 entry

$400 for 10 entries

$700 for 20 entries

$1000 for 50 entries

Entry Period:

Donations must be made before 5:00 PM AEST on August 29, 2024, to qualify for the prize pool draw.

Prize Pool Draw:

All eligible donations will be automatically entered into the prize pool draw.

The draw will be conducted in a fair and transparent manner.

Notification of Winners:

Winners will be notified via the contact information provided at the time of donation.

Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of notification.

General Conditions:

By participating, donors agree to these terms and conditions.

The organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the draw at any time without prior notice.

The decision of the organizers is final and binding in all matters related to the prize pool draw.

Privacy:

Personal information collected during the donation process will be used solely for the purpose of the prize pool draw and may be shared with the sponsor to facilitate the prize collection/delivery.
