Non-Toxic Dry Shampoo

Print Recipe
Here is my go-to, all-natural Non-Toxic Dry Shampoo recipe, as store-bought dry shampoos have a lot of chemicals that are bad for the scalp and envionment. You probably already have the ingredients in your pantry, but you can also get the ingredients I use here:
https://amzn.to/3U1ilzc
It's so much cheaper and healthier for your scalp and the planet to make your own dry shampoo and it's just as effective!
Commercial dry shampoos contain a lot of toxins, including:
Aerosol propellants (Butane, Propane & Isobutane) are toxic chemicals and propellants that also damage our ozone layer (which shield us from the sun’s harmful UVA/UVB rays )
Contains preservatives and alcohol which also dry the scalp and cause dandruff and itchiness. It can also cause breakouts and acne.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch or arrowroot flour

  • 2-5 drops rosemary essential oil Here is the brand I use: https://amzn.to/3U1ilzc
